![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I was very disappointed how she finally got out of the care center and was getting healthier. I wish there would’ve been a cliffhanger or something more dramatic. If I were Sarah Dessen, I would’ve had Caitlyn come back in the end. I only understood how she became more and invisible to the people around her. It would’ve been nice if she would’ve explained “Dreamland” better. Dessen did a good job on showing how a girl can fade away from the crowd so quickly just from another person who came into her life. Will Caitlyn take Cass’s position on being the perfect daughter, or will she find herself lost in her own Dreamland because of a specific boy who brought himself into her life? Sixteen year old Caitlyn has always lived in her eighteen year old sister Cass’s shadow, until she wakes up on her birthday to find that she’s ran away with her boyfriend Adam. If you are sensitive to violent activity and/or abuse, I suggest you don’t read this book. Some parts of this book are very intense and violent. That is exactly what happens in this story. Have you’ve ever day dreamed in class, or anywhere? What if you find yourself stuck and you can’t get out of it? Most people can help that from happening, while others can’t. ![]()
